Noughty Blanc Non-Alcoholic White Wine has been expertly dealcoholised to retain the rich flavour of this beautifully crafted bottle.
TECHNICAL DATA
Vintage: Non vintage
Varietal: 55% Chenin Blanc / 45% Chardonnay
Vineyards: The grapes are harvested from dry-land farmed vineyards in the Western Cape region, where the vines are not trellised and are planted as bush vines. The vineyards are strategically planted on south-west facing slopes to capture cool breezes from the Atlantic Ocean and cold Benguela current. Deep soils from decomposed granite, clay rich, with good drainage.
Winemaking: With 14 days fermentation at 14-15°C, the grapes and juice are handled reductively to prevent oxidation and lock in fruitiness. The wine is left on lees for 2 months to add complexity. The wine is then dealcoholized by way of a gently spun cone technology. This is done under vacuum and at low temperature to ensure that the wine retains its distinctive body, colour and flavour.
Information:
Alcohol: <0.5% Vol.
Residual Sugar: 2.08g/100ml
Kcal: 17/100ml
TASTING NOTES
Notes of yellow apple, lime, melon and chamomile are predominant on the nose, with aromas of honeysuckle, citrus fruit and jasmine on the palate. Good balance of acidity and fruitiness.
PAIRING
A refreshing white wine that will pair well with light fish dishes, soft and creamy cheeses as well as spicy food such as Indian and Thai plates.
The bottle contains less than 150mg per litre of sulphites and is gluten free.

Lovely but as well as buying it direct, I have also been buying it from Waitrose (no longer) as they have seen fit to hike the price up to £10.75 and despite me asking why they just come out with the usual brush off. Maybe you should think about dropping Waitrose as one of your outlets. Long time Waitrose customer but no longer. Blatant profiteering!!! Over to Tesco and Sainsbury's who i believe are now also stocking, thank goodness !

I love this wine, only bought direct from maker as the supermarket does something to break the seal. If it hisses when you open it, it’s good otherwise it’s slightly vinegary. It gives my husband a headache so we can’t share it.

Hi Tina. Thanks so much for the glowing review!
We were a bit alarmed though to hear that the supermarket is tampering with your bottle of Noughty.
This white wine should certainly be sealed and may well have tasted slightly off because it has been oxygenated and - like any food or drink exposed like that - gone bad. If you buy from us the cap should always be sealed and the wine never vinegary.
Thanks again!
A very nice drink
